For Aspen Budget Hotels the Molly Gibson and the Aspen Hotel are both great deals in Aspen Co. These accommodation have or are having major renovations. In the Molly Gibson the rooms with the Jacuzzis are really special with lots of natural light. A big tub right in the room and they are spacious with lots of mirrors storage and amenities to spoil yourself with. I doubt that you would want to leave these room except to ski and eat.
The locations of these hotels are right across the street from each other on Poepke park which is also the area where you will find the Aspen landmark property the Sardy house which has one of the coolest christmas trees that you are likely to see anywhere, in my opinion this tree is much better than the White house tree in Washington DC. These accommodations are close enough to walk to town. They provide a courtesy shuttle from the Aspen Airport Aspen Taxi

For Aspen Budget hotels the Limelight is another great deal in Aspen. This budget accommodation in Aspen has undergone a major retro project and now is ready for the next hundred years. Recently they ere bought by the Aspen Ski Co so who knows how long this will remain a Aspen budget hotel. We really liked the reworking of the lobby which is a focal point for everyone that stays here with the breakfast bar and the Apes Ski buffet of cheese and wine in a bright airy and warm area that will only get better with time as more personal touch's are added.
The Limelight guest rooms have all be redone some of the rooms have mini-bars-kitchen areas that are well thought out and executed. The beds, always import are very comfortable and the guestrooms are big enough that you don't feel as if you are in a closet posing as a bedroom, which for some of the older Aspen properties is seen as a negative.

The Mantra for business around the world is location location location this is true even in Aspen Colorado you will be staying less than 2 blocks from mountainside and right outside the Aspen downtown core as such you will have access to all of the great bars and restaurants including the Belly Up that features some of the best bands in the USA in a small yet excellent venue. For Cheap Food I highly recommend Johnny Mc Quires believe me your doctor and mother would not approve!
Located right across the street is Ruby Park a main transportation hub and home for Aspens Roaring Fork Valley Transit Agency which offers free shuttles to all of the main mountains and also offers bus service to Basalt, Greenwood Springs and now even as far as Rifle.
To Get there from the Aspen Airport Snow Limo is who we highly recommend which offers the best rates into town for singles and also has some of the most experienced mountain drivers in Aspen to Denver & Colorado in general.
